As we rapidly move towards mid-year, opportunities to reflect on the first half of the year are already beginning to surface. This month, we will be shown karmic lessons that we’ve been ignoring this year and how to embrace them as we approach the second half of the year. Karmic lessons result from past life choices and their repercussions. Some common areas that karmic lessons can influence are finance, what roles we play in our family systems, our confidence, whether we draw good or bad luck, and the length of our life span. This month is also largely about preparing for next month (June), which will be a time when sexual relationships will be under great scrutiny. This month, we are being shown which of these relationships will be most impacted. For many, past sexual relationships will be the focus, while for others current or potential sexual relationships will have the spotlight on them. Lastly, this month is also about timing, especially the tendency many of us have to avoid what we already know is inevitable.
LOVE & ROMANCE: It will be easy to see poor choices in others’ love lives this month. However, this is not a good time to give love advice. It will be poorly received and your intention may be misunderstood.
SPIRITUALITY: This month is a good time to address imbalances in your spiritual life. If you tend to only engage in one type of spiritual practice, you may want to consider opening yourself to other practices. If you rely primarily on prayer, try expanding to worship, e.g. through song or dance. Or if you are a lone meditator, try joining a mindfulness group this month.
FAMILY: Sibling dynamics will run through a lot of family issues this month, whether or not you have siblings. This may look like competitiveness or protection, depending on the situation.
CAREER & MONEY: This month, you will see a lot of evidence of your karma around money. Strive to make choices in money matters that reflect unselfishness, hopefulness, and trust in abundance. If you have poor money karma, this will help set the stage to resolve some of it.
HEALTH: Green-colored foods will support your health this month, especially fruits and vegetables. Also, pay attention to your physical surroundings. This month you will be shown how your environment is playing a role in your health. Examples of this are a disorganized environment contributing to depression; an environment that gets no natural light contributing to sleep difficulties; or an overly noisy environment contributing to digestion or bowel issues.
